Spa Manager (Expat/Female)
The incumbent in this position is responsible for leading the operational and financial management of the spa ensuring complete viability of the Spa, maximising all opportunities and resources; for ensuring that the highest standards are adhered to, and that guest experience exceeds expectation; for assisting with membership retention, renewal and functions and for establishing and maintaining marketing objectives, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, staff relations and training.
Overall management and performance of the Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.
Achieving revenue targets as set by the Organisation, Brand, Hotel, Unit or Department Management.
Quality of service, and maintenance of the product at the Spa in line with Organisation, Brand, Hotel, Unit and Department Operating Standards.
Prepares the monthly financial and statistical reports, incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation at the Spa, competition, occupancy and usage, achievement of targets.
Establishes and ensures a cost effective wage structure based on productivity and efficiency.
Develops and submits an annual budget and business plan for the Spa, in conjunction with the Hotel. Is responsible for the achievement and regular review of the business plan and budget.
Liaises with the Hotels Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year. Coordinates all promotional plans and projects for the facility.
Provides leadership, direction and support to the employees at the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
Effectively integrates the Spa within the Hotel Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the Spa, both internally and externally,
Develop an annual training plan for the Spa, in conjunction with the HR Department and ensures that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
Monitors standards of performance and member satisfaction and introduces measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
Leads the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Spa, with support from the Hotel.
Is responsible for the Health and Safety of employees and members in the Spa and adhere to guidelines and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual.
Ensures that good practice is applied to all issues in relation to employees and in conjunction with the HR Department, ensures that all Hotel HR policies and procedures are followed.
Provides an effective structure for communication within the Spa at all levels.
Maintains a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene at all times as per grooming standards.
Is courteous to guests and other members of staff at all times.
Is adaptable and accountable for all actions.
Sets an example at all time to all Spa staff.
At least 5 years of experience in management with a background in spa, salon, and / or beauty with the same or similar company.

Bachelor degree in health, hospitality and / or management field.
Internationally recognised spa, salon, and / or beauty degree, diploma and / or certificate.
Non Resident Indian / Expat Preferred
