Situated on the beautiful Isle of Arran on the West Coast of Scotland, we are a unique resort with two 4 star hotels and over forty 5 star luxury self-catering lodges and retreats. You’ll be part of our busy spa team - Passionate about creating memorable experiences and giving awesome guest service. Your professional and friendly approach will immediately reassure our guests are in safe hands. Your love and knowledge of our brands will also help you recommending the ideal product to complete the guest spa journey, and drive revenue.

Job Requirements:

An HND/ NVQ level 3 is essential for this role, previous experience is required. Ideally you must have previously worked with Espa.

Must be motivated to work unsupervised and as part of team.

When you’re here full training will be provided including extensive in-house training, as well as certified ESPA essential training with the potential for advanced certified ESPA training.

Job description
We are looking for a qualified beauty/spa therapist to provide professional and engaging wellness therapies, facials and massage treatments to our clients. We do not provide nail services as we believe that nails are very specific and are we are looking for therapists that love the skin and holistic therapies as those are the services we we offer in our spa. You will offer a full range of treatments to fulfill different client needs and objectives.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials and waxing) in a safe and comfortable manner
* Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
* Keep documentation and maintain clients files
* Keep a clean and stocked room
* Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
* Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
* Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
* Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues
* Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends
Skills
* Proven work experience as a beauty/spa therapist
* Hands on experience in massage techniques, waxing and face/body therapies.
* Experience in sales will be considered an asset
* Excellent knowledge of English language
* Communication and customer service skills
* Positive attitude
* User level computer skills
* NVQ level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy
