We are looking for a skilled Nail Technician to join our team. The Nail Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services to our clients, including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and nail art. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent customer service skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and nail art.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with each service.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including regularly sanitizing tools and equipment.
Keep up-to-date with current nail trends and techniques to provide the latest styles and services to clients.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a nail technician training program
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

• Performing manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments, including shaping, filing, and polishing nails, and cleaning, trimming, and grooming cuticles.

• Examining clients' nails and advising them on proper nail care and hygiene practices while identifying any nail disorders, infections, or abnormalities and recommending appropriate treatments or referrals to medical professionals, if necessary.

• Consulting with clients to determine their nail care needs, preferences, and desired outcomes, and providing recommendations on suitable nail treatments and products based on their preferences, skin type, and lifestyle.

• Staying up-to-date with the latest nail care trends, products, and techniques and educating clients about different nail products and their benefits, while actively promoting and selling the lounge's exclusive nail care products such as polishes, treatments, and accessories.

• Providing excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and satisfied with their treatment by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, listening to their concerns, and addressing any issues or complaints promptly.

• Managing client appointments and maintaining accurate records of services provided, products used, and client preferences, while keeping track of inventory levels and assisting with ordering new supplies when needed.

• Acting as the front-of-house and lounge receptionist by welcoming clients, taking appointments, preparing drinks, and handling the cash register during the salon's rush hours.


The perfect candidate will have the following:

• Completion of a nail technician or cosmetology program from an accredited institution is preferable.

• Proficiency in various nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, and familiarity with different nail polish types, gels, acrylics, and other nail enhancement products.

• Thorough understanding of sanitation and sterilization procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication and an innate ability to listen attentively to the client’s needs, understand their preferences, and provide appropriate recommendations.


• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to perform precise nail treatments, facials, and other treatments with superb, consistent quality results.
