Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Therapist to lead our team. In this role, you will oversee spa operations, ensure the highest standards of treatments and customer service, and support the professional development of our therapists. You will be responsible for maintaining the spa’s reputation for excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.



Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the spa therapy team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Perform high-quality face and body treatments using organic and results-driven products.
Train, mentor, and support therapists, ensuring adherence to The Spa standards.
Monitor treatment quality, guest feedback, and service efficiency to maintain excellence.
Oversee product recommendations and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
Ensure spa hygiene and cleanliness meet the highest industry standards.
Assist in scheduling, staff management, and operational planning to optimize efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest spa trends and wellness techniques, implementing new treatments where appropriate.

Qualifications:
Fully qualified with extensive experience in spa therapy, including leadership or supervisory roles.
Certifications in facial and body treatments at CIDESCO, CIBTAC, or ITEC level.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for wellness and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.

Overall Job Objectives:

As a Scalp /Head Spa therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' overall hair and scalp health The therapist will be responsible for creating customized treatment plans based on individual client needs, promoting hair and scalp health, and delivering exceptional customer service.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide scalp treatments, perform professional hair scalp analysis for customers, including shampoo, blow-dry, basic head massage, and related services
Recommend hair and scalp care products, treatments, and packages to customers.
Provide the right solution to the customer by consulting, listening and applying technical know-how
Communicate and advise what is best for the client's interest
Maintains spa and treatment room appearance, cleanliness and safety standards according to standard operating procedures
Provide excellent service and create exceptional experiences for customers
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


At least 6 months - 1 year related experience as a Scalp Consultant or in a similar role within the beauty industry
Professional certificate is a plus
Excellent customer service & sensitivity to customers’ needs and paying attention to details.
Positive attitude and cheerful
Service oriented and well-groomed
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
Able to work on shifting schedules, weekend and public holiday

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Deliver head spa treatments (scalp massages, hair treatments, etc.) in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, ensuring client satisfaction.
Ensure thorough consultations to accurately assess client needs, offering solutions tailored to their scalp and hair health.
Actively promote and recommend hair and scalp care products to clients, contributing to retail sales targets.
