SPA & AMENITY MANAGER OPPORTUNITY!

You must have a strong background in the spa industry and massage therapy, embodying the entrepreneurial drive needed to expand and elevate our massage services across our entire portfolio.

Your ability to build a client book and your capability to fuel a referral-based business demonstrates your influence and networking skills in the industry.
You are preferably a licensed massage therapist or esthetician, and your proficiency in delivering high-quality services is a significant asset.

YOUR MISSION AS SPA & AMENITY MANAGER:
Deliver amazing customer service by having a hospitality-focused, customer-first mindset.
Manage the on-site spa, maintain the area, and work with residents to schedule appointments.
Supervise and manage spa, front desk, fitness, concierge, pool, package room, and porter team members.
Onboard and train team members, and provide ongoing coaching and proactive feedback.
Utilize and market the company's app technology to increase customer awareness, usage of our programs, events, and ancillary sales. Coach team members to understand and market the application.
Promote and sell amenity memberships, fitness packages, event tickets, and services on the app.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to according to law.
Your role is crucial not only in enhancing the lives of the customers within the property, but in improving the attractiveness and value of the property and/or membership packages offered by the property.
Be the face of URBN Playground for all customer questions, concerns and needs.

Massage Therapy certification is strongly preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with Abu Dhabi departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
Be aware of all products/services that are offered at Spa,
Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and job skills, showing enthusiasm to always increase this knowledge and that of your staff.
Project and maintain acceptable payroll commitment.
Use financial plans for spotting trends, measuring productivity and monitoring progress.
Prepare and interprets all financial reports and annual budgets for all departments within the spa, and provide expertise on revenue and expenditure; reviews and analyses the monthly to ensure budgets and opportunities are exceed and costs are controlled.
Develops and contributes to the strategic planning of the department, work with Sales and Marketing to promote and sell customized spa programs to difference market group needs; create and lead the implementation of a yearly marketing plan.

Develop and maintain gracious and efficient front desk procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience leading the Spa department, in international 5-star hotel is preferred
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Spa Operation management and Spa products; ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding; ability to provide legible communication; ability to manage payroll; ability to keep control of the budget; ability to train and develop the Spa departments; ability to motivate the staff and developing incentive programs to improve their productivity.
