Looking for a well presented experienced British Hairdresser to work in my growing British owned salon in Singapore.

*Must hold at least an NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 (City & Guilds preferred)

*You will be part of a professional team working in a luxury boutique salon in the heart of the business district. You will work with brands, Loreal, Kevin Murphy, Olaplex, K18, Beauty Works, Great lengths, GHD to name a few. Training will be provided if you have not used these brands before.

*We work a 5 day week, all public holidays off, 14 days paid holiday, end of year bonus based on performance.

*You must be very experienced in all colour such as highlights, balayage, Scalp bleaching, zone toning etc.

*You must have excellent cutting, styling & updo skills being able to cut male and female hair

*You must have experience with hair extensions, even if its not the Hair extension brands mentioned above.

*You must be good at working in a team, wanting to share your skills with juniors in the salon.

*You must be willing to take part in training sessions with our supporting brands to forever improve your hairdressing skills

*Must be active and creative on social media to attract new customers in Singapore and relocating.

*Basic salon duties include keeping your area and the salon tidy.

*Our salon has great earning potential with your salary starting at SG$7500.

*Basic medical insurance will be provided for your first year.

The successful candidate will receive from us your travel ticket to Singapore plus a place to stay whilst settling in for the first few months.

The salon also provides Nail, Brow & Lash services which are free for employees. Singapore is a great central location in Asia making it easy to travel around the beautiful surrounding countries. There are many direct flights to the UK.

Requirements:



- Education: Completion of high school, college or beauty school programs for cosmeticians, estheticians, electrologists, manicurists and pedicurists is required.

- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in the field is required.

- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Sitting, Overtime.

- Work site environment: Fast-pace environment

- Personal Suitability: Excellent Oral Communication, Initiative, Reliability, Flexibility, Team player, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus, Dependability, Judgement, Organized

Language: English is required.



Salary: $24.00 hourly, 45 -52 hours a week.

               

Important Information: The selected candidate will work from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm. Work on Saturdays is required. If the selected candidate needs to work on a Saturday, the regular schedule will be from 10 am to 5 pm. Flexibility on schedule is required depending on the business’ needs. Overtime is required.
